Miami, May 5, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Varonis Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNS), a leader in data and AI security, today announced that its data security platform has achieved "High (Alta)" level certification under Spain's National Security Framework (Esquema Nacional de Seguridad, ENS), which stipulates information security requirements for Spanish public sector organizations and their technology providers.
The "High" level ENS certification demonstrates that the Varonis data security platform meets the security management requirements set out in Royal Decree 311/2022, which aims to build trust and ensure optimal security in the protection of data and critical infrastructure.
"As organizations widely adopt AI, the protection of sensitive data becomes indispensable," said Dror Shemesh, CISO of Varonis. "Achieving High-level ENS certification underscores our commitment to helping organizations prevent breaches, comply with regulations, and safely adopt AI by protecting the data that underpins AI."
This expands the list of audited certifications validating the security, privacy, and governance of the Varonis Data Security Platform, in addition to the FedRAMP certification (a unified security assessment and authorization program to ensure safety when U.S. federal government agencies introduce and utilize cloud services (SaaS/PaaS/IaaS)) that Varonis first obtained in May 2025 as a data security platform.
