Rock Band 'Sunao' Announces New Release on Digital and Cassette Tape!

Three-piece rock band 'Sunao' has announced the release of a new recording.

Sunao is currently in the midst of a three-month consecutive self-produced event series called 'Idetachi', which began in May. They released the digital single 'Akogare' in May and the digital single 'Fall into the lake' in June. With this new announcement, it becomes clear that they will have three consecutive months of live performances and three consecutive months of releases.

The newly announced work is titled 'Face To Face' and is an EP containing the two previously mentioned songs plus two new songs. Digital distribution will begin on July 8th on various streaming sites. It was also revealed that 'Face To Face' will be available as a cassette tape at the merchandise booth on July 12th, the final day of the three-month consecutive self-produced event, at the Kichijoji warp venue.

Both previously released songs, 'Akogare' and 'Fall into the lake', are excellent tracks that evoke summer sunshine and a cool breeze, raising expectations for the two new songs.

This is Sunao's first cassette tape release since 'O2/Heisei' released in 2024. The cassettes are limited edition, and the previous release sold out immediately, making them a rare item. We recommend purchasing one at Kichijoji warp on July 12th!

Formed in November 2020, started activities with Kazuki Ohata and Yuya, along with support members.

In February 2022, Ami, who had been playing support bass since their first live, officially joined the band. They are active mainly in the Kanto region.

In September 2025, they released their 2nd Mini Album 'Sparkle pop' as a Tower Records exclusive, which was selected as Tower Records' monthly power push 'Tower Recomen'.

From October to December 2025, they held a total of 8 release tour dates. The final performance on December 10 at Shindaita FEVER, featuring guest KOTORI, was sold out.

In May 2026, they announced the member-organized event 'Idetachi'.

On May 13, they digitally released their latest work 'Akogare'.
