SABER TIGER is a heavy metal band formed in Hokkaido in 1981, centered around guitarist Akihito Kinoshita.

They have led the Japanese heavy metal scene since its dawn, gaining strong support from metal fans both domestically and internationally for many years with their sharp guitar riffs combined with lyricism and sound backed by solid musicianship.

After vigorous independent activities, they released their first album "PARAGRAPH" in 1991. Subsequently, they continued to release important works such as "INVASION," "Agitation," and "TIMYSTERY," establishing their unique style.

In 1997, they advanced into the major field with the album "Project One." Since then, they have continued to evolve with each work, and the song "ETERNAL LOOP (clear)" from the album "F.U.S.E." released in 2002 was used as the ending theme for the TV anime "Hajime no Ippo," making the band widely known.

Despite several member changes, SABER TIGER has consistently pursued the essence of heavy metal.

Their activities continue to this day, and even now, at their 45th anniversary, they maintain an unwavering presence as a leading Japanese heavy metal band.
