This event will be held in an open campus format, open to the general public. Participants will learn firsthand about "culinary techniques for achieving authentic results with simple steps" using the recipe "Grilled Eggplant with Savory Sauce and Pork Shabu-Shabu" from Nanami's book published in May.

Background of the Event

At Lecole Vantan, under the vision of "creating the world's most school-like school close to society," we thoroughly hone individual technical skills through hands-on classes, enabling students to complete all processes independently. Therefore, we have invited Nanami, who has garnered support from 470,000 followers across social media for her "#nanamiごはん" (Nanami's meals), which features simple yet sophisticated everyday dishes. This event is planned with the aim of stimulating the sensibilities of young people who will lead the future food industry and supporting their new endeavors by providing an opportunity to directly experience the culinary world that Nanami proposes.

I am honored to serve as a special instructor at Lecole Vantan.

For this event, I have adapted the recipe "Grilled Eggplant with Savory Sauce and Pork Shabu-Shabu" from my cookbook "Watashi ni Yasashii Hibi Gohan" (My Gentle Everyday Meals) with a refreshing summer sauce.

I myself don't cook perfect meals every day; I value "roughly made but truly delicious meals" that can be easily continued even on busy days.
