Valtes Launches Official Version of Document Quality Analysis AI Tool "QuintSpect"

Valtes Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Osaka City, Nishi Ward; Chiyoda Ward, Tokyo; President and CEO: Koichi Tanabe; hereinafter referred to as Valtes), a group company of Valtes Holdings, Inc. that provides software testing and quality improvement support, will begin offering the official version of its document quality analysis AI tool "QuintSpect" on Monday, July 6, 2026.

"QuintSpect" is an analysis AI tool that analyzes the quality of documents such as requirements definition documents and design documents from five perspectives: "accuracy," "understandability," "visibility," "depth," and "reliability," and provides scoring and improvement suggestions.

Since the prototype version was released in October 2025, we have been improving its functions based on user feedback. The official version includes new features such as an analysis reservation function, analysis history management function, and notification function, as well as enhancements to safety and stability by reviewing contradiction detection processing and the system infrastructure.

Background of QuintSpect Development

Valtes has been providing a "Specification Inspection Service" that reviews specification documents and design documents as part of its software quality improvement efforts, supporting the discovery of defects in the upstream processes of system development and quality improvement.

In system development, errors in requirements definition documents or design documents can lead to the creation of incorrect programs (defects), which may require rework across multiple stages for correction. Therefore, ensuring document quality in the upstream processes is a crucial initiative for reducing development costs and improving quality.

QuintSpect was developed as a tool to analyze and propose improvements for document quality by combining AI technology with the expert knowledge previously applied in human reviews.

Since the release of the prototype version, 14 companies have used it, and we have continuously improved its functions based on user feedback.

Key Enhancement Points in the Official Version

1. Implementation of Analysis Reservation Function

The system has been changed from the conventional immediate execution method to an analysis reservation method. Users no longer need to wait on the screen for analysis to complete. It supports checking reservation status, estimated completion time, and estimated token consumption, as well as email notifications upon completion. This allows users to continue with other tasks while analysis is in progress.

2. Enhanced Analysis Results and File Management Functions

An overview management, search, and filtering function for analysis history has been added. Additionally, a file management function has been implemented, allowing users to check analysis status and storage usage.

3. Visualization of Contract and Usage Status

Functions for applying for plan changes and purchasing options have been added. Furthermore, token usage and storage utilization can now be viewed on the screen.

4. Improved Safety and Stability

Functions for detecting password-protected files and virus-infected files have been added, along with a function to prevent overwriting of files during analysis. The contradiction detection processing and system infrastructure have also been renewed, enabling support for large-capacity documents and improving stability.
