Christophe Perillat, Valeo CEO, has appointed Jean-Luc Terrasse as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Valeo Lighting Systems and Group Executive Vice President, effective July 1, 2026. He will report directly to Christophe Perillat and will be a member of the Executive Committee.
With over 30 years of international leadership experience in operations, successfully leading major manufacturing and corporate functions in Europe and South America, Jean-Luc Terrasse is uniquely positioned to guide the Valeo Lighting Systems division into its next phase of growth, driving financial performance and innovation.

Jean-Luc Terrasse - Career Path
Jean-Luc Terrasse began his career at Valeo in 1989 and has gained extensive international experience through various senior executive positions. His expertise spans leadership in operations, production management, product development, and sales across multiple Valeo business units, including Engine Management Systems, Body Electronics, and Specialty Lighting Products. In January 2016, he was appointed Vice President of Valeo’s Wiper Systems Product Group. In between his tenures at Valeo, he also worked at Alstom Grid, Johnson Controls Automotive, and Safran, gaining valuable external experience.
He holds an engineering degree from the Central Lyon ENISE.
