The partnership between Valeo and holoride accelerates the global deployment and scaling of in-car augmented reality gaming experiences for passengers.

This collaboration realizes gaming that synchronizes with vehicle movement and perceives the surrounding environment by combining Valeo's Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) sensor suite and algorithms with holoride's spatial intelligence technology.

New content and live demonstrations will be unveiled at Auto China 2026.

Valeo, a global leader in automotive technology, and holoride, a pioneer in in-car augmented reality, announced today at Auto China 2026 an expansion of their partnership. This will accelerate the rollout of augmented reality (XR) gaming experiences to passengers worldwide.

The two companies, which first announced their alliance at CES 2026, are now focusing on expanding their portfolio of in-car augmented reality content and introducing immersive gaming experiences synchronized with vehicle motion to mass-market vehicles globally.

By combining Valeo's advanced sensor technology with holoride's real-time spatial intelligence, this partnership seamlessly integrates the physical world into gameplay, enabling games that transform travel time into interactive entertainment.

Marc Vrecko, CEO of Valeo's Brain Division, stated: "Through our partnership with holoride, combining our world-class ADAS expertise with their spatial experience software development kit (SDK), 'Valeo Racer' is redefining the in-car experience. This venture proves that our ADAS and AI technologies, originally developed for driving assistance and safety, are now innovation engines that create new forms of entertainment and comfort. This is a major step for Valeo, placing our technology at the core of a more human, engaging, and connected mobility."

Nils Wollny, co-founder and CEO of holoride, commented: "We are transitioning from the launch phase to scaling a full content portfolio. Together with Valeo, we are bringing in-car augmented reality gaming to a mass-production level, delivering immersive, vehicle-synchronized experiences to passengers around the world."

Expansion of the Augmented Reality Gaming Portfolio

At Auto China 2026 (April 24 – May 3), holoride and Valeo will showcase the next step of their partnership: an expanded augmented reality gaming portfolio featuring new titles and enhanced customization capabilities for automakers.

Visitors can experience these innovations at the Valeo booth (#B2D01) and the holoride booth (#W1B22). At the holoride booth, attendees can also register for an exclusive live drive demonstration to experience augmented reality content fully synchronized with real-world driving situations in a moving vehicle.

This portfolio expansion is underpinned by the combination of Valeo's world-leading Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and holoride's spatial intelligence technology.

Valeo's suite of cameras, radars, and AI-driven perception algorithms builds a real-time digital twin of the vehicle's surrounding environment, while holoride's spatial perception engine interprets real-time vehicle motion and environmental data to create a synchronized digital layer that is reflected in the game content in real-time. holoride's spatial experience SDK empowers developers and OEMs to build adaptive, motion- and location-aware gaming experiences tailored to their brands and customers.

Together, these technologies enable a scalable ecosystem for augmented reality gaming, bringing a new level of immersion, comfort, and personalization to in-car entertainment on the go. These new experiences enhance the value of sensors already equipped in vehicles.

While currently focused on expanding the augmented reality gaming portfolio, holoride and Valeo see massive long-term potential in spatially-aware in-car experiences beyond gaming, based on a foundation of broader application categories supported by real-time environmental understanding.

From Launch Phase to Portfolio Expansion

This partnership expansion builds upon a significant milestone achieved just weeks ago. That was on Renault Korea's latest flagship vehicle.
