Next-Gen Career Education Meets Regional Revitalization! UZUZ Launches Vocational School in Asahikawa, Hokkaido to Cultivate IT/AI Talent and Prevent Job Mismatches

The UZUZ Group, which provides job and career support for young people, has established 'School Corporation UZUZ' and will begin operating the 'Asahikawa Medical Secretary Vocational School' in Asahikawa, Hokkaido, starting in April 2026. Leveraging the practical education and job placement know-how cultivated by the UZUZ Group, the school will deploy 'Next-Gen Career Education' to prevent job mismatches. With an eye toward contributing to regional revitalization, it will realize a new educational model that dissolves the boundaries between 'learning' and 'working.' Furthermore, to cultivate talent that will support the region and the future, the school will begin accepting applications for the first cohort of the newly established 'IT/AI Business Department' (scheduled for April 2027) starting at the end of April 2026. The UZUZ Group has spent 14 years supporting the employment of young people who fall outside the 'traditional new graduate route.' Through this experience, they felt strongly that a new educational model is necessary to create a world where young people can work with enthusiasm.
