Universal Studios Japan 25th Anniversary “Discover U!!!” – Anniversary Ceremony Held Today, March 31st!

Universal Studios Japan (operated by USJ LLC) celebrated its 25th anniversary today, March 31, 2026. Prior to the park opening, the '25th Anniversary Ceremony' was held, featuring a special performance by park characters and a greeting from approximately 650 crew members who welcomed guests with gratitude. The event was a massive success, with fans and characters like Elmo, Hello Kitty, Minions, and Snoopy joining in the celebration. President Taku Murayama expressed his deep gratitude to the guests for their support over the past quarter-century. Additionally, the 'Back to 2001 Diorama Gallery' was unveiled, allowing fans to reminisce about the park's opening. The park plans to continue its 'Discover U!!!' themed programs through March 30, 2027, aiming to contribute to the economic growth of Osaka and Japan.
