Our company endorses April Dream, an initiative to make April 1st a day for announcing dreams. This press release represents the dream of "Upderu Inc."

■ Background of Upderu's "Dream"

Upderu Inc. (hereinafter "Upderu") operates businesses such as sales of logistics materials nationwide, primarily in Tokyo, Ibaraki, Saitama, Chiba, and Kanagawa, as well as operating environmental material sales websites (used pallets "Flex-i", flexible containers "Flexi-bag", used IBC containers "Flexi-bulk", etc.), and various sales agency services. Simultaneously, one of Upderu's passions is the development of job opportunities for people with disabilities through collaboration with "Type B employment support facilities."

In the current Japanese welfare landscape, the wages (income) for individuals attending Type B facilities, for example, often significantly deviate from those in general employment. Upderu aims to change this situation not merely through "support" but by fostering "business partnerships."

■ People with disabilities supporting logistics

For instance, one of Upderu's dreams is to build a system where "a network of employment for people with disabilities supports the process of reusing logistics materials."

"Future-connecting" work: By collaborating with employment support facilities nationwide, for example, plastic pallets scheduled for disposal by logistics companies can be inspected, or materials that companies previously discarded can be transformed by the hands of people with disabilities into "recycled materials/resources" with added value, comparable to new products.

From "support" to "partner": We will provide the welfare sector, which has often been limited to simple tasks such as stuffing DM envelopes or bagging novelty items, with the proud work of "supporting logistics infrastructure." Utilizing the know-how gained from sales agency services, we will accept tasks at appropriate unit prices, thereby realizing a society where people with disabilities can earn income equivalent to, or even exceeding, that of general employment.

Simultaneous achievement of zero environmental impact and zero disparity: Contributing to the creation of a future where using recycled materials protects the global environment and directly leads to "social independence support" becomes a societal standard.
