About UPDATERs DAY

In recent years, as the term "SDGs" has become widespread, many companies have accelerated their efforts.

However, with only four years remaining until 2030, the deadline for achieving the SDGs, the era of merely "wearing an SDG badge" is over. The challenge faced by business leaders and practitioners is how to transition "from formal activities to essential impact."

This event, "UPDATERs DAY 2026," is a "co-creation platform" where practitioners tackling this "challenge" gather to collectively envision "the future of sustainability." It will share the "real voices" of "Updaters" who are pursuing "essence" at the forefront of energy, coexistence with nature, and the happiness of workers, driving the world forward. It will also explore "Beyond SDGs," looking beyond the existing SDG framework and towards 2030 and beyond.

We aim for this event to be more than just a presentation of success stories; it will be a place to explore with participants "how to update future sustainability as an engine for corporate growth."

The event will be held in a hybrid format, both in-person and online. The in-person venue will also host networking sessions, providing a platform for dialogue across companies and positions, addressing questions like "How are people in other companies operating?" and "How did they overcome this challenge?" The new connections forged there are sure to become the greatest energy to update your future activities.

An "update" day for society and yourself, looking towards 2030 and beyond. Shall we create "the future of sustainability" together, starting here?
