On June 17, 2026, the "Workplace Certification System for Easy Working" was introduced at the "Job Hunting Basic Knowledge Seminar" held at Hello Work Nagoya Minami.
The seminar explained that businesses displaying the certification mark are "certified as workplaces where employees can work with peace of mind." It also introduced initiatives by certified businesses to improve their work environments and the mechanism by which the certification mark is awarded after review by a third-party organization.
Participants expressed feedback such as, "I will be mindful of the certification mark when looking for a job," and "My understanding of the system and initiatives has deepened," leading to increased understanding of the system.
Job Fair by 3 Certified Businesses Also Held on the Same Day
Following the seminar, a job fair was held by three certified businesses.
Two-star certified businesses (trucks, taxis) and one-star certified businesses (trucks) conducted the consultation sessions, where job seekers were seen engaging in earnest discussions directly with hiring managers.
The secretariat will continue to strengthen its collaboration with Hello Work and convey to job seekers the commitment of certified businesses to creating easy-to-work-in environments. By providing opportunities to consider driving positions as a career choice, we will strive to contribute to the development of the transportation industry and certified businesses.

<About the "Workplace Certification System for Easy Working">
The official name is the "Driver Workplace Environment Improvement Certification System." This system, established by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, uses a certification mark to "visualize" the "ease of working" for truck, bus, and taxi drivers. Its purpose is to promote job placement for drivers and support the efforts of transportation businesses in securing human resources.
Companies with this mark have implemented various initiatives to improve driver working conditions and environments, and have been certified after review of these measures by a certification body.
They aim to create better workplace environments for each individual employee, including active recruitment of female drivers, increased annual leave, reduced overtime work, and initiatives to protect mental and physical health, serving as a guide for choosing a workplace.
The Nippon Kaiji Kentei Kyokai (ClassNK) acts as a "Certification Body" designated by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, carrying out the examination and certification work for this system, as well as public relations activities.
