Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: FUKURA Hisashi / hereinafter referred to as Universal Music) will simultaneously release video works of Mrs. GREEN APPLE's live film "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY LIVE ~FJORD~ ON SCREEN" and documentary film "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS DOCUMENTARY FILM ~THE ORIGIN~" on July 8 (Wed).

Mrs. GREEN APPLE's films, "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY LIVE ~FJORD~ ON SCREEN" and "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS DOCUMENTARY FILM ~THE ORIGIN~", which were released simultaneously on November 28 (Fri) last year, recorded a hit, surpassing 850,000 attendees and 2 billion yen in cumulative box office revenue. These films are now being released as video works.

Each title will be released as a regular edition on Blu-ray and DVD (2 discs). Additionally, a limited edition, "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS COMPLETE FILM BOX “FJORD” & “THE ORIGIN”", which includes both titles in a large LP-sized box, will be released on Blu-ray (2 discs) and DVD (4 discs). The boxed edition will include an LP-sized square photobook (40 pages), a plush toy pouch (with strap) Inspired by “FJORD”, an acrylic stand (3-piece set) feat. “FJORD”, decoration stickers Inspired by “FJORD”, a stage map leisure sheet Inspired by “FJORD”, and a gelato cup & spoon Inspired by “THE ORIGIN”.

"MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY LIVE ~FJORD~ ON SCREEN" completely includes the live performance held at the special venue in Yamashita Pier, Kanagawa, on July 26 (Sat) and 27 (Sun), 2025, marking the band's 10th anniversary. This live event mobilized approximately 100,000 spectators over two days. On the second day, in addition to a live broadcast on WOWOW, there were live streams on 15 distribution platforms, live viewings at 325 cinemas nationwide, and karaoke viewings via “miru hako”. Including the venue, distribution, and live viewings, over 350,000 people in total watched over the two days. The release also includes approximately 60 minutes of documentary footage that closely follows the approximately 240 days leading up to that event.

"MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS DOCUMENTARY FILM ~THE ORIGIN~" is Mrs. GREEN APPLE's first documentary film. The film features the theme song "Variety," written for this movie, and chronicles the 300 days leading up to its first performance for the audience at "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY LIVE ~FJORD~." The content offers an in-depth look at the unseen, candid moments and behind-the-scenes of Mrs. GREEN APPLE. It also includes a total of 45 minutes of completely unreleased footage, never before shown to the public, which could not be included in the main film.

【Mrs. GREEN APPLE PROFILE】

A three-member band consisting of Motoki Oomori (Vo/Gt), Hiroto Wakai (Gt), and Ryoka Fujisawa (Key).

Formed in 2013. Made their major debut in 2015 with the mini-album "Variety" from EMI Records.

Since then, they have continued to release one original album annually and engage in steady live activities. Their first national arena tour, "Eden no Sono," held from December 2019, sold out immediately in Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.

On July 8 (Wed), 2020, the 5th anniversary of their major debut, they released their first best-of album "5," which topped the Oricon Weekly Combined Album Ranking and the Billboard Japan Hot Albums chart. At the same time, they declared the "completion of Phase 1" and announced an abrupt hiatus.

After a hiatus of approximately 1 year and 8 months, the current member lineup was formed, and they resumed activities in March 2022, marking the "opening of Phase 2." On July 8 (Fri) of the same year, they released the mini-album "Unity" and held the one-night-only comeback live performance "Utopia." They also provided the insert song "Watashi wa Saikyo" for the movie "ONE PIECE FILM RED" and released the theme song "Soranji" for the movie "Eien no Zero" on November 9 (Wed). Their song "Dance Hall" received the Excellence Award at the "64th Japan Record Awards."

Designating 2025, the 10th anniversary of their debut, as "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS," they announced various projects. On July 8 (Tue), they released the anniversary best-of album "10" and held the outdoor live performance "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY LIVE ~FJORD~" on July 26 (Sat) and 27 (Sun) at the special venue in Yamashita Pier, Kanagawa, mobilizing 100,000 people over two days. They collaborated with commercial facilities nationwide. They also released seven new songs, including six consecutive monthly releases: the theme song "Darling" for NHK General's "Mrs. GREEN APPLE 18sai," the opening theme "Kusushiki" for the second cour of the second season of the TV anime "The Apothecary Diaries," the theme song "Tengoku" for the movie "#Shinsou wo Oshaberi Shimasu," the theme song "Breakfast" for Fuji TV's "San! They received the "Artist of the Year" award in the Japanese Music category at the "39th Japan Gold Disc Awards," the special award "Best Theme Song" (for "Dear," the theme song for the movie "Dear Family") at the "48th Japan Academy Film Prize," and achieved a historic first by winning "Video of the Year" and three other awards for two consecutive years at the "MTV VMAJ 2025." Furthermore, at the "MUSIC AWARDS JAPAN," held as Japan's largest international music awards, they received the "Best Artist Award" for artists with outstanding musical creativity and artistry. From October to December, they held their largest-ever 5-dome tour, "Mrs. GREEN APPLE DOME TOUR 2025 \"BABEL no TOH\"", mobilizing 550,000 people across 12 performances. They simultaneously released the documentary film "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS DOCUMENTARY FILM ~THE ORIGIN~" and the live film "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS ANNIVERSARY LIVE ~FJORD~ ON SCREEN" on November 28 (Fri), achieving a hit with a combined attendance of approximately 620,000 and cumulative box office revenue exceeding 1.5 billion yen (according to Kogyo Tsushinsha). From December to March 2026, they held the exhibition "MGA MAGICAL 10 YEARS EXHIBITION \"Wonder Museum\"" in Tokyo, Fukuoka, and Osaka.

They won three awards in the "Oricon Annual Ranking 2025" and seven awards in the "Billboard JAPAN 2025 Annual Chart," two major domestic charts. Additionally, their anniversary best-of album "10" surpassed 1 million cumulative sales on the "Oricon Daily Album Ranking" dated December 22, achieving million-seller status (a feat not seen in the rock genre for 13 years and 6 months, and the first in the Reiwa era). They achieved their third consecutive Japan Record Award with "Darling" and served as the closing act for the Kohaku Uta Gassen for the third consecutive year.
