Yurina Hirate to Release First Solo Album 'Expressionless Expression' on Wednesday, June 3

Universal Music LLC (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Fujikura; hereinafter 'Universal Music') will release Yurina Hirate's new album 'Expressionless Expression' on Wednesday, June 3.

Hirate debuted as a member of Keyakizaka46 in 2016. In 2018, she starred in her first film 'Hibiki' and won the Japan Academy Prize for Best New Actor, the Nikkan Sports Film Award, and the Yujiro Ishihara Award for Best Newcomer. Since starting her solo career in 2020, she has garnered attention as a singer, actress, and model.

This work includes a total of 10 songs, including previously released songs, unreleased songs, and new songs. The first limited edition A includes a photobook with alternative cuts and unreleased shots from the album jacket photo shoot, and a DVD with music videos, jacket photo shoots, and unreleased making-of footage. The DVD in the first limited edition B includes the making of the 'Kill or Kiss' music video, which is the opening theme for the TV anime 'Marriage Toxin', and the making of the album jacket photo shoot. All first press editions of every format include a serial number entry ticket for a chance to win special seats at the Budokan live on Thursday, August 20, a rehearsal sound check event, and the first-ever online event.

To commemorate the release, a 'Yurina Hirate 'Expressionless Expression' POP-UP STORE' will be held at UNIVERSAL MUSIC STORE HARAJUKU on Takeshita Street in Harajuku from Wednesday, June 3 to Sunday, June 14. The venue will display many unreleased photos taken during music video recordings, as well as illustrations created specifically for the store and a wide range of goods featuring a 'panda' motif, including limited original T-shirts, loungewear, caps, keychains, and puffy stickers. The album 'Expressionless Expression' will also be available for purchase at the venue.
