Gen Takano, President and CEO of Unitrand Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter 'Unitrand'), which leverages digital technologies to address transportation and logistics challenges for sustainable regional communities, participated in the 'COMmmmONS Seminar 2026 | Frontline of Regional Mobility DX × Startup-Corporate Co-Creation' (hereinafter 'the seminar'), sponsored by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and held on June 12, 2026. The event was organized by Plug and Play Japan.

Mr. Takano delivered a presentation during the startup pitch session of the seminar, focusing on the theme: 'Solving Mobility Challenges and Unitrand’s Business Model'.

The seminar was designed as a collaborative platform to accelerate the social implementation of regional mobility digital transformation (DX), integrating the 'COMmmmONS (Commons)' project promoted by MLIT with the startup ecosystem cultivated by Plug and Play Japan. It aimed to co-create the future of regional transportation through public-private innovation.

During the seminar, MLIT shared its latest 'Regional Mobility DX' roadmap, with a strong focus on 'social implementation' through Plug and Play Japan’s ecosystem. Discussions centered on the 'next steps' for upgrading regional mobility, drawing from concrete outcomes of last year’s pilot projects and pitches by startups and large corporations tackling mobility challenges.
