Unipos, Inc. (headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo), a company dedicated to unlocking the potential of people and organizations to solve organizational challenges, will add a "Post Advice Feature" to its peer bonus® service "Unipos" starting Tuesday, April 7, 2026. This feature is the first in a series of new functions aimed primarily at managers. Using a conversational AI format, it supports managers in putting their words of praise into language. Rather than having the AI ghostwrite text, the feature is designed to draw out the poster's own feelings — helping managers overcome the common struggle of "wanting to praise someone but not knowing how to say it." The feature will be provided at no additional cost to all companies that have adopted Unipos. ※ Available only to users granted organizational administrator privileges.
Development Background: Eliminating "Not Knowing How to Praise" and Making Successful Implementation Replicable Through the Product Among companies that have adopted the peer bonus® service "Unipos," managers have frequently voiced concerns such as "I know what to praise, but I struggle to put it into words" and "I can't keep it up due to embarrassment or limited vocabulary." While managers understand the importance of praising others in management, the reality is that how to actually do it has been left to each individual manager's own efforts. A hint for changing this situation came from a case study at Kotohira Kogyo Co., Ltd., a Unipos client. At that company, managers who had considered themselves poor at giving praise used Unipos to make recognition a habit, leading to measurable behavioral changes on the front lines. The development of this feature was motivated by the desire to embed this approach into the product so that all users — not just one company — can practice it "naturally and without stress." Feature Overview: The AI Serves Strictly as a "Drawing-Out" Role The "Post Advice Feature" adopts an accompaniment-style design in which the AI does not "auto-generate (ghostwrite)" text, but instead "draws out" the poster's own memories and emotions. Based on Unipos's proprietary know-how on "how to praise," the AI supports users in crafting praise that truly resonates with the recipient.
When a user attempts to express gratitude or praise, the AI poses questions such as: ・"What action by this person left an impression on you?"
・"How did that action change you or those around you?"
・"If you had to describe that action in one word, what comes to mind?"
Simply by answering these questions, users find that the vague feelings of gratitude or admiration in their minds are organized into specific, warmly worded praise that highlights the recipient's results and actions. This feature was piloted within the group company among approximately 800 employees. Over 90% of employees who responded to a post-use survey said it became "easier to write."
