「BRIGHT FUTURE OKINAWA」計畫的背景
「BRIGHT FUTURE OKINAWA」是一個以沖繩兒童能夠安心學習、朝向未來成長的社會為目標的計畫。
近年來，世界各國從教育和健康的觀點出發，保障生理用品取得權的動向日益擴展，並積極推動社會支持生理期的機制。透過在學校提供生理用品，旨在賦予女學生力量，並將過去被視為「個人問題」的「生理期」轉化為「由整個社區共同支持的機制」，將其融入社會，同時推動建立支持兒童的新型社會基礎設施，以實現女性活躍的國際示範城市。
此計畫得到了FC琉球的支持，該隊以「從沖繩出發，讓大家一起讓世界變得有趣（UMUSAN，沖繩方言：有趣的）」為理念，致力於建立支持兒童未來的社會；以及FC琉球櫻花的支持，該隊以「打造沖繩未來的女子隊伍」為目標，致力於解決沖繩的社會問題。今後，計畫將朝著建構學校與社區聯動的「最尖端女性活躍城市模式」邁進，包括從四月起陸續在FC琉球及FC琉球櫻花的總部比賽場地廁所導入「Sofie Anywhere」計畫的生理用品自動販賣機。
