Improved Elasticity for Longer Use of Current Size: Top-Selling "MamyPoko Pants" Renewed

Unicharm Corporation (Representative Director, President & CEO: Takahisa Takahara) will renew 'MamyPoko Pants,' the No.1 selling baby diaper pants (*1), by equipping them with 'Nobi~ru Fit' (stretchy fit) technology. By enhancing the elasticity of the waistband, the product has been updated so that the current size can be used for a longer time, and will be launched nationwide starting in mid-April 2026.

Background of the Launch Generally, for baby disposable diapers, as the size goes up, the number of diapers per pack decreases, and the unit price per diaper increases. Therefore, sizing up leads to an increased cost burden on households. Under these circumstances, we have received many requests from customers who say, 'I want to continue using the current size for as long as possible.' On the other hand, it is also a crucial factor that the diaper fits the growing child's body shape and improves comfort. Thus, there was a demand to balance the need to 'keep costs down' with the need to 'use it comfortably.'

Therefore, by newly equipping 'MamyPoko Pants' with 'Nobi~ru Fit' technology, we are renewing the product to gently fit the changing body shape of growing children while allowing them to use the current size comfortably for a longer period.

Product Features 1. Improved waistband elasticity and fit with 'Nobi~ru Fit' technology (*2) - We have newly adopted the 'Nobi~ru Fit' technology, which secures elastic materials using ultrasonic waves. Compared to the conventional fixation using adhesives (glue), this brings out the inherent elasticity, achieving up to twice the stretch (*3) compared to our conventional products. - Because it stretches greatly with less force than conventional products, it gently fits growing body shapes, making it possible to use the current size for a longer time.
