UMU Technology Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku, Tokyo; CEO: Shuhei Matsuda), which operates the AI-powered learning platform 'UMU,' will officially launch the 'UMU AI Talent Development Series' on April 1, 2026, to cultivate 'AI talent' that co-creates with AI. This series, which integrates theory based on scientific methodology with practice via an AI coach, provides practical AI skills specialized in five areas: Sales, Business Writing, Time Management, Project Management, and Strategic HR. By focusing on learning directly linked to each job function, the series aims to accelerate corporate AI talent development and improve AI utilization capabilities across the entire organization. As many companies prioritize AI utilization and productivity, employees often feel uncertain about their ability to use AI effectively. A survey by the company showed that while over 70% of people use generative AI multiple times a day, about 70% lack confidence in their ability to create effective prompts to solve business problems. To address this, UMU developed these five courses, which can be introduced flexibly according to corporate needs. Unlike traditional lecture-based training, this series allows learners to systematically acquire thinking and practical skills for co-creating with AI. All courses include 'AI Prompt Exercises,' where learners receive instant feedback from an AI trainer on their prompts and generated results, ensuring efficient skill acquisition. The series offers three key values: 'Theory' based on over 100 academic studies, 'Practice' anytime and anywhere with an AI coach, and 'Tools' (assets) such as prompt collections and script samples supervised by experts. Takuya Okimoto, Generative AI Evangelist at UMU Technology Japan, commented that AI is the greatest opportunity to augment human capabilities, and mastering new skill sets is essential for sustainable growth.
