Uhuru Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Takashi Sonoda; hereinafter "Uhuru") announces the co-development of a "Sustainability Disclosure Support Service" with IBM Japan, Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; General Manager: Akio Yamaguchi; hereinafter "IBM Japan") to assist corporate groups in calculating greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and sustainability disclosures. By utilizing Salesforce's "Agentforce Net Zero," the service will strengthen governance in calculating emissions across complex corporate group structures and drastically streamline disclosure operations in compliance with the Sustainability Standards Board of Japan (SSBJ).

Currently, listed companies, in particular, face an urgent need to comply with sustainability-related financial disclosures based on SSBJ standards. However, for many corporate groups, establishing the process (governance) to collect and verify activity data scattered across various sites and subsidiaries, as well as drafting the massive and highly complex text required for securities reports, poses a significant burden.

To solve these challenges, Uhuru—which possesses expertise in Salesforce development and implementation and was among the first in Japan to support the rollout of "Agentforce Net Zero" (formerly Salesforce Net Zero Cloud)—has combined its strengths with IBM Japan's consulting capabilities. Together, they have developed an end-to-end support system covering everything from data collection, application, and approval, to the automated generation of disclosure document drafts by AI.

Main Features Provided by This Service

1. "Emissions Application and Approval Workflow" to Strengthen Group Governance

On Agentforce Net Zero, data registration and management according to the complex parent-child relationships within corporate groups are possible. By digitizing the application process for activity levels and emissions from various group sites and establishing an approval flow, the accuracy and transparency of calculated data are ensured.

2. "Automated Generation of Sustainability Disclosure Document Drafts" by AI

Based on reliable collected and calculated data, AI automatically generates document drafts necessary for sustainability-related financial disclosures in securities reports simply by answering questions. By supporting text creation that considers SSBJ disclosure standards, it aims to reduce the workload in disclosure operations. (However, this feature does not guarantee obtaining an auditor's assurance—limited or reasonable.)
