Tokachi's First* "U-Yu Onsen Delivery Project" Launches, Connecting Hot Spring Use to Disability Welfare Support

Himawari Onsen (Obihiro City, Hokkaido) and NPO U-mitte (Obihiro City, Hokkaido) have launched the "U-Yu Onsen Delivery Project" as a new initiative for regional symbiosis in the Tokachi region.

This project delivers 100% pure source medicinal hot spring water from Himawari Onsen to homes and facilities, with a portion of the usage fees donated to support activities for children and adults with severe complex disabilities.

This is the first initiative in the Tokachi region to "directly link the use of hot spring delivery services to disability welfare support."
