However, through repeated consultations, it became clear that the essential needs of the participants were not merely acquiring language skills, but rather the desire to "change myself" and "lead a better life." As a result of continuously addressing these desires, we have reached the major milestone of 1,000 cumulative participants.
In particular, the learning opportunities combining domestic and international study abroad are spreading as a new form of gaining experience in multiple, phased steps, rather than the traditional "one-time study abroad."
U-GAKU will continue to provide cross-border learning opportunities and respond to diverse needs. Furthermore, we will design flexible programs tailored to the goals and circumstances of participants, advancing the creation of environments where more people can take on challenges.

◆ U-GAKU Domestic Study Abroad
Locations: Chatan (Okinawa), Niseko (Hokkaido)
Duration: 1 week to 1 year
Target: All ages
Features: Provides an environment even within Japan where one can naturally engage with English outside of class time through communal living with native speakers, in areas with many foreigners to feel a cross-cultural atmosphere. It offers a setting where you can experience cultural exchange without anxiety regarding safety or procedures, and acquire more practical English. It is ideal as a step to build confidence in English before studying abroad overseas.
◆ U-GAKU Overseas Study Abroad
Locations: Cebu (Philippines), Malta
Duration: 1 week to 1 year
Target: All ages
Features: Through communal living with native residents, practical use of the English learned in class is applied in daily life. Also, participants experience cross-cultural exchange while feeling the local culture and customs firsthand. Furthermore, within a fully English environment, we clarify the direction of personal growth during the study abroad via "Life Lessons," and provide support for thinking about career paths after studying abroad.

Locations: Cebu (Philippines), Okinawa, Tokushima, Shiojiri (Nagano), Niseko
Duration: About 1 to 2 weeks
Target: Elementary to Junior High School students
Features: A training camp-style service for elementary and junior high school students where they can simultaneously experience agriculture and learn English. By combining nature experiences leveraging regional characteristics at each location with U-GAKU's original English learning program, it provides an environment for kids to familiarize themselves with English and use it practically.
