TV TOKYO Communications Corp. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Ippei Fukuda) and WEGO Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Kyosuke Sonoda) have launched a six-month joint project aimed at branding and multifaceted expansion of the popular Korean character 'WASABI BEAR' in Japan.

With the concept 'Fluffy body, thorny heart. A mischievous bear with bad eyes,' WASABI BEAR has gained support from Gen Z for its honest expression of true feelings. Partnering with the trend-setting brand WEGO, the project will expand the fan base through various initiatives.

### Project Overview

**Phase 1: Online Feature Integration** Starting March 2026, WASABI BEAR items were featured as key elements in the 'School Bag Decoration' special on WEGO's official online store.

**Phase 2: Limited Sticker Distribution at 17 Stores** Prior to the June pop-up event, limited edition stickers (4 types) will be distributed randomly to customers who make a purchase at major stores nationwide. - Period: Starts May 25 (Mon), 2026 (until supplies last) - Quantity: 5,000 stickers total - Participating Stores: 17 locations including WEGO 1.3.5... Harajuku, Shinsaibashi, Fukuoka PARCO, Sapporo, and LaLaport Yokohama.

**Phase 3: Pop-Up Stores at 6 Locations** Limited-time shops will sell popular Korean standard goods and items making their debut in Japan. - Period: Starts June 17 (Wed), 2026 - Locations: WEGO 1.3.5... Harajuku, Shinsaibashi No.3, Fukuoka PARCO, HEP FIVE, AEON MALL Takasaki, and LaLaport Aichi Togo. - Novelty: Customers spending 3,300 yen (including tax) or more on related items will receive a limited collaboration design shopper on a first-come, first-served basis.

Additionally, the project includes pre-sales on the WEGO online store and the launch of LINE stamps to coincide with the pop-up events, delivering the charm of WASABI BEAR to fans through multiple channels.
