30th Anniversary of 'Pokémon Red and Green': 'Pokémon Music Festival' to be Held in Commemorative Year

The "Pokémon Music Festival" will be broadcast on the TV Tokyo network (May 15th (Friday) from 6:55 PM). This special program will feature the new theme song for the "Pokémon" anime's new chapter, "Liko and Roy's Adventure," which begins airing on May 22nd (Friday), as well as opening and ending themes, and even Pokémon songs by renowned international artists! A new song project, featuring the names of 1025 currently popular Pokémon, is also drawing significant attention!!

Actor Kanata Hongo, a passionate Pokémon lover, and the comedy duo Chocolate Planet have been announced as MCs! The festival will create an atmosphere of excitement, like a true festival, with Pokémon talks, rap and dance corners, and opportunities for everyone to sing and dance along.
