Actor Hio Miyazawa Translates 'Go, Sea Turtle!', Part of a Best-Selling Picture Book Series with Over 6 Million Copies Sold in 44 Languages, Released on May 27th (Wed)

Two Virgins Inc. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) released the 7th volume of its translated picture book series, 'Go, Sea Turtle!', on Wednesday, May 27, 2026. The translation was handled by actor Hio Miyazawa, his second work in the series following 'The Whale Who Wanted More'. This best-selling series has sold over 6 million copies worldwide and has been translated into 44 languages. This 7th installment of the animal picture book series is created by popular British author Rachel Bright and illustrator Jim Field, who has worked on numerous best-sellers. Previous volumes have been translated by top figures in various fields, including actress Sakura Ando, comedian Takashi Fujii, and former Japan national soccer team player Atsuto Uchida. Hio Miyazawa, who has appeared in numerous hit dramas, movies, and stage plays, including the NHK Taiga drama 'Berabo: Tsutaju Eiga no Yume Banashi', took on the translation. Commenting on the book, Miyazawa said, 'Small courage can cause big changes. It taught me the importance of taking the first step.' The story follows baby sea turtles Tula and Tiny as they race toward the sea under the moonlight, facing dangers on the beach. It is a story that conveys that there are things more important than winning or losing, and that even the smallest existence has the power to change the world.
