Turing Selected for Research and Development of Robot Foundational Models (GENIAC)

Turing Inc. (Headquarters: Ota-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Issei Yamamoto; hereinafter "Turing") announces its selection for the "Post-5G Information and Communication Systems Infrastructure Reinforcement Research and Development Project / Research and Development of Robot Foundational Models (GENIAC)" (hereinafter "this project") promoted by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO). This project will promote the development of physical foundational models for fully autonomous driving and the implementation of in-vehicle End-to-End (hereinafter "E2E") autonomous driving systems.

This marks the company's fourth selection, following the first announcement in February 2024, the second in October of the same year, and the third in July 2025.

**About GENIAC**

GENIAC (Generative AI Accelerator Challenge) is a project jointly implemented by METI and NEDO with the aim of strengthening domestic generative AI development capabilities. It mainly provides computational resources for the development of foundational models, which are core generative AI technologies, and supports demonstration surveys for data and AI utilization.
