Tully's Coffee Japan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shuji Uchiyama) held a "Summer-Only New Product Launch and Media Tasting Event" at MY Shokudo Hall & Kitchen (3rd floor, TOKYO TORCH Tokiwabashi Tower) to announce its special collaboration with the South Korean five-member artist group 'TOMORROW X TOGETHER.' This collaborative product line will be available at all Tully's Coffee stores nationwide starting July 8, 2026 (Wed).
On the day of the event, Norikazu Wakabayashi, General Manager of the Marketing Division at Tully's Coffee Japan Co., Ltd., presented on the company's new initiatives leading up to its 30th anniversary in 2027, as well as the strategic collaboration aimed at expanding its customer base among younger demographics. Following this, Chiharu Ishikawa and Yuri Harima from the Marketing Division took the stage to introduce in detail beverages and food inspired by Korean trends, as well as original merchandise featuring PPULBATU (Pulbatu), Tully's official character dressed as a store employee.
Tully's First Collaboration with an International Artist: Background and Development Insights Targeting Younger Customers
The event began with General Manager Norikazu Wakabayashi explaining the background of this collaboration.
He shared that as part of Tully's new challenge toward its 30th anniversary in August 2027, the company chose to collaborate with the globally active five-member group TOMORROW X TOGETHER. He noted that in recent years, Tully's has actively pursued new customer engagement—especially among younger generations—through seasonal drinks inspired by trends and digital initiatives leveraging LINE.
For this collaboration, the goal was to blend the 'hope' embodied in the name TOMORROW X TOGETHER with Tully's core values of 'a relaxing space' and 'dedication to every cup.' He emphasized that the development focused on exploring 'what Tully's as a café can offer,' striving to balance 'Korean trends' with 'Tully's signature commitment to coffee excellence.'
He also revealed behind-the-scenes details, such as product development team members repeatedly attending live concerts and events to closely observe fans. 'We spent over half a year discussing and developing menus and items that would delight fans while also satisfying our existing Tully's customers,' he said, highlighting the deep commitment behind this collaboration.
Beverages and Food Inspired by Korean Trends
Next, Chiharu Ishikawa from the Marketing Division introduced the specific highlights of the collaboration beverages and food.
She explained that in planning the products, the team focused on combining Tully's dedication to coffee with popular South Korean café menu concepts to create 'a new kind of deliciousness in every cup.'
She introduced two beverages: the 'Caramel Foam Americano,' which features a delightful contrast between the bitterness of premium espresso and the gentle sweetness of caramel, and the 'Mango Separate Tea,' inspired by popular recipes in Korean café culture, known for its striking two-layer gradient.
For food, she promoted a lineup incorporating summer-friendly Korean trends, including the 'Yangnyeom Chicken Cheese Sandwich,' featuring popular Korean-style spicy-sweet fried chicken and cheese between whole wheat bread; the 'Sweet Potato Bread,' inspired by the trending Korean 'Kogmapan' that tastes like roasted sweet potato when warmed; and the light-textured 'Cup Tiramisu,' ideal as a snack or late-night dessert.
Practical Café Items and Exclusive 'PPULBATU' Designs Dressed as a Tully's Barista
Yuri Harima from the Marketing Division then introduced the special collaboration merchandise created for this campaign.
She explained that the merchandise features a color scheme based on gray and Tully's green—the key colors from the campaign's visual identity—blending Tully's café atmosphere with the charm of TOMORROW X TOGETHER and its official character, PPULBATU.
The merchandise offers two distinct experiences: first, everyday-use items like eco-bags and bottles featuring original illustrations of PPULBATU dressed as a Tully's employee, allowing customers to personalize and enjoy them in various settings. Second, the 'Trytan Glass,' featuring the same design as the limited-edition cup served in stores, enabling customers to enjoy a café-like experience at home. 'We hope you'll enjoy this collaboration both in our stores and at home,' she said.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER is a five-member boy group under BIGHIT MUSIC, consisting of SOOBIN, YEONJUN, BEOMGYU, TAEHYUN, and HUENINGKAI. The group's name embodies the idea of 'different individuals coming together through a shared dream to create tomorrow.'
