Tully's Coffee Japan Launches Lightweight and Durable Tritan Glasses as an "ACTION for Environmental Consideration" at Stores Nationwide from May 8th (Friday)

Tully's Coffee Japan, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director and President: Shuji Uchiyama) will begin introducing reusable Tritan glasses (resin glasses). ■ Introducing functionally advanced and originally designed glasses that better convey the appeal of beverages. Tully's Coffee traditionally serves iced drinks in glass or plastic cups. However, as an action aimed at improving customer safety and convenience, and reducing waste, Tritan glasses will be progressively introduced at Tully's Coffee stores nationwide (excluding some locations). This initiative aims to reduce the annual usage of plastic cups by approximately 30 tons. The Tritan glasses being introduced are an original shape, manufactured in Japan using resin material. They are characterized by their impact resistance, light weight, ease of handling, and high transparency, which beautifully enhances the original colors and textures of beverages. Furthermore, their stackable design, usable for both short and tall sizes, contributes to efficient store operations and space-saving. As glasses that combine both functionality and environmental consideration, they will provide comfort to customers and deliver a pleasant cup of coffee. ~TULLY'S ACTION for environmental consideration spreading from approximately 850 stores nationwide~ Tully's Coffee expresses its various corporate social responsibility initiatives as "TULLY'S ACTION," centered on three pillars: "Environment," "Welfare," and "Community Contribution." P-Life is an innovative additive that leads to the microbial decomposition of difficult-to-decompose plastic materials like polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP), which are traditionally extremely difficult to decompose naturally. It is manufactured from vegetable oil and is considered a highly safe additive.
