Tsuruya Yoshinobu Co., Ltd., a traditional Kyoto confectionery maker, is holding a special sales event, "Traveling Tsubara Tsubara," to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its best-selling baked sweet "Tsubara Tsubara" in 2026. The first event will take place at the Kyoto Main Store from May 21 to May 26, 2026. The event will feature a limited-edition "Fluffy and Chewy Tsubara Salted Ogura Butter," freshly made in-store, combining Hokkaido Ogura bean paste, Kotobiki salt, and Hokkaido butter. The event will also tour other locations in Osaka, Tokyo, and Kumamoto.
