Founded in 1803 (Kyowa 3) in Nishijin, Kyoto by the first Tsuruya Ihei. It is a long-established Kyoto confectionery maker with over 220 years of history. With the family motto of "Creating Good Things," we preserve traditional techniques while inventing new Japanese sweets and cafes that incorporate a modern sensibility. We are also working on various collaboration projects, expanding the appeal of historical Kyoto sweets and pursuing new value for Japanese sweets every day.
