Screening of Award-Winning Film 'Black' and Talk Event with Creative Team FUTANOGO to be Held on June 24 at LOFT9 Shibuya

As part of a revival screening project by Filmarks, Japan's largest review service for movies, dramas, and anime, a screening of the film 'Black' produced by the creative team FUTANOGO, consisting of the three Yamamoto brothers, will be held on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at LOFT9 Shibuya, along with a talk event. FUTANOGO is a creative team comprising comedian Yamagen (Nekonisu), actor Shun Yamamoto, and film director Tamaki Yamamoto. The team began full-scale activities triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. The independently produced short film 'Black,' which will be screened, won the Best Award in the Entertainment Video category at the Kyoto International Film Festival's Creators Factory 2020. Using a mockumentary (fake documentary) format, the film creates a memorable aftertaste and generated a significant response despite being released only at the festival and on YouTube (currently private). In addition to the screening, this event will feature a talk session by FUTANOGO. They will discuss the behind-the-scenes details of the film's production, including how it came to be, events on set, sources of inspiration, and the intentions behind the work, which can only be heard here. Furthermore, as an audience participation initiative, they are accepting advance questions. Questions can range from those about the work itself to the realities of filmmaking, influential works, and recent favorite movies, with the talk covering a wide range of topics based on the questions received.
