[1996 Design Reissue] 'Trainspotting' Reissue Design T-Shirts to be sold exclusively at Filmarks Store starting April 28!

Tsumiki Inc. (Headquarters: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Takayuki Suzuki), operator of Filmarks, Japan's largest movie, drama, and anime review service, has announced a new item following the success of its revival screening project for the cult classic 'Trainspotting'. To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the film's release, the '30th Anniversary Reissue T BTS-TS-08'—a follow-up to the first reissue in January—will be sold exclusively on the 'Filmarks Store' e-commerce site.

The reissue project is reaching its final stage. This piece features a white box logo on an orange body, the signature color representing Trainspotting. It was inspired by the original promotional vintage T-shirts from the film's release era. The logo's shape differs slightly from the first edition 'BTS-TS-07', meticulously recreating the slight variations found in the original specifications.

The body is made of 6.2-ounce tubular knit cotton jersey, offering a solid texture and durability. Furthermore, at the 'Behind the Scenes' factory, we have replicated the fade, cracks, and shrinkage that would typically occur after about 10 years of wear (refer to Image A). Enjoy it as a 'growing T-shirt' that changes expression as you wear it.

Original vintage T-shirts from this era currently trade at high prices on the second-hand market, and opportunities for official merchandise releases have been extremely limited. Featuring the iconic orange body with the well-known box logo on the front and the word 'Choose'—from the famous opening scene dialogue—on the back, this design is quintessential 'Trainspotting'.
