TSUKUREA Inc. (Head Office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hideki Suzuki; hereinafter "TSUKUREA") announces that the website for the 2026 fiscal year of "Kanagawa Entrepreneurship Challenge #Kikusuta ~KICK START for the Future~" (hereinafter "Kikusuta"), a next-generation entrepreneur incubation program commissioned by Kanagawa Prefecture, has been launched.

What is Kikusuta?

Kikusuta is a "Next-Generation Entrepreneur Incubation Program" implemented by Kanagawa Prefecture for students residing or studying in Kanagawa Prefecture. The program uses "Kikusuta," an abbreviation of "KICK START for the Future," to express the nurturing of entrepreneurship (entrepreneurial spirit) among young people who will lead the future. The program is operated by TSUKUREA Inc., which was commissioned by Kanagawa Prefecture. Kikusuta offers programs such as "Entrepreneur Meetups" and "Business Plan Creation Seminars," as well as the "Kanagawa Student Business Idea Contest." Various initiatives are being developed to foster entrepreneurship among students in Kanagawa Prefecture.

What is Entrepreneurship?

It means "entrepreneurial spirit." In Kikusuta, emphasis is placed not only on whether one starts a business, but also on fostering "the ability to identify challenges independently and act proactively to solve them."

Furthermore, with the idea that starting a business is just one of many options, we are promoting its introduction into educational settings as an educational curriculum that leads to career choices and the development of proactivity, targeting junior high school to university students.

Entrepreneur Meetups

These are talk session events held at junior high schools, high schools, and universities that are active in entrepreneurship education, aimed at making entrepreneurship feel more accessible. Experienced entrepreneurs who have started businesses will be invited to speak about their motivations for starting a business, their aspirations, and specific episodes of challenges they have faced. Events are held with themes designed to make entrepreneurship feel more approachable. We also welcome inquiries from interested school officials.

Business Plan Creation Seminar

This program is aimed at students interested in starting a business, with the goal of creating their own business plan from scratch.

Starting from "what I want to solve," students will learn the knowledge and know-how necessary for entrepreneurship in a short period, including discovering issues, conceptualizing value propositions, business structures, monetization mechanisms, as well as the entrepreneurial mindset and how to create compelling presentations. The goal is to complete an "idea on a whim" as a business plan originating from "you."

Based on that plan, you can connect to the next challenge, such as participating in a business idea contest.

Student Networking Event

We hold networking events for students who are interested in entrepreneurship but don't know how to take the first step. Through lectures and workshops by experienced entrepreneurs, and interaction among participants, we provide learning and opportunities for connection. We encourage you to participate as an entry point to entrepreneurship and as an opportunity to meet like-minded peers.

Kanagawa Student Business Idea Contest

Kikusuta holds a business contest every year. Students who have participated in other Kikusuta programs, as well as those who have refined their own ideas, can participate in the business contest.

The student who presents the most outstanding business idea will be awarded the "Kanagawa Governor's Award" and will have the opportunity to present directly to the Governor of Kanagawa Prefecture.
