TSP Taiyo Enters the Travel Business After Receiving Tokyo Travel Agency Registration

TSP Taiyo Inc. (Head office: Meguro-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Kago Ikezawa) announced that it has entered the travel business this fiscal year after obtaining Tokyo Governor-registered Travel Agency license No. 2-8933. Leveraging its strengths in event consulting, the company plans to develop tours centered on events as well as tourism-linked tours aimed at regional revitalization. TSP Taiyo operates across a broad range of fields, including spatial production, disaster prevention, public relations and art, under the mission of “exploring people’s aspirations and innovating experiences.” As it seeks synergies with its existing businesses, the company sees a growing need to support not only event planning and production but the entire process leading up to participation. By combining event production with travel services in a one-stop offering, TSP Taiyo aims to further enhance experiential value. The company’s travel business will include original tours connected to events it produces, creating premium experiences that conventional package tours cannot offer. It will also propose customized experiential tours and programs aligned with corporate philosophies or regional problem-solving needs. By producing both events and travel programs, TSP Taiyo intends to respond flexibly and increase the value of event participation. TSP Taiyo has previously been involved in a wide range of events, including international large-scale projects such as Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan and major sports events. It is a gold partner of Daido Life SV.LEAGUE, a volleyball league aiming to become one of the world’s best, providing venue setup, operational support and fan engagement initiatives. It has also participated as one of the organizers of the Thai Festival, one of Japan’s largest international exchange festivals, held at venues including Tokyo’s Yoyogi Park and attracting more than 250,000 visitors annually. In regional revitalization, the company worked on “Tagajo Outdoor Dining” in Tagajo City, Miyagi Prefecture, developing original menus using ancient rice together with local chefs and the municipal government, and offering a premium one-day restaurant experience. In art and IP content, it invested in and operated the Tokyo edition of “Van Gogh Alive,” an immersive exhibition that has toured 99 cities worldwide and attracted 9 million visitors, enhancing the event experience through storytelling devices and digital art.
