■ Seminar Overview

In recent years, the food industry has accelerated its efforts toward digitalization, driven by successive regulatory revisions and changes in the social environment. Since the enforcement of the Food Labeling Act, food labeling has been continuously updated, including revisions to allergen labeling and specific item labeling rules.

It is said that approximately 70% of the food industry has initiated some form of IT adoption or efficiency improvement. However, only a fraction of companies have moved toward full-scale DX. Digitalization is advancing beyond simple operational efficiency toward the construction of management foundations that utilize data. This seminar was planned as a forum to consider how to bridge regulatory compliance with digitalization based on this industry background.
