ANA's Furusato Nozei and Furusato Choice Expand Number of Participating Municipalities Through System Integration

ANA Akindo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Yuzo Hara; hereinafter "ANA Akindo") and Trustbank Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Jun Oi; hereinafter "Trustbank"), which plans and operates one of Japan's largest hometown tax general sites, "Furusato Choice," began system integration on Tuesday, April 7th, on ANA Akindo's "ANA's Furusato Nozei" (https://furusato.ana.co.jp/ ).

Through this integration, the number of municipalities handled by "ANA's Furusato Nozei" will expand from the current 1,148 to approximately 1,500 at the start of the integration. Furthermore, additional municipalities will be sequentially integrated, with plans to eventually expand to over 1,600 municipalities (*). By further broadening the regions that donors can support, we will create more opportunities for new encounters with local areas than ever before.

◆ What the Partnership Achieves

This integration will enable donations to be made not only to existing partner municipalities but also to target municipalities that partner with "Furusato Choice" on the "ANA's Furusato Nozei" platform.

For donors, this will further expand the choice of regions to support, allowing them to select from a diverse range of return gifts from all over the country. By increasing opportunities to experience the charm of regions through donations, we aim to create ongoing relationships with local communities.

◆ Features of "ANA's Furusato Nozei"

Based on the concept of "Delivering the 'Feelings' of regions with 'Safety and Trust'," "ANA's Furusato Nozei" has leveraged the ANA Group's network and customer base to develop unique projects, such as experience-based return gifts combined with airline tickets and accommodation. Even after this integration, while maintaining this unique direction, we will further strengthen our function as a "platform that carries the feelings of regions and donors" by expanding the range of choices.

◆ Background and Purpose of the Partnership

This initiative was realized through the shared desire of ANA Akindo, which has the mission to "Create the future of Japan together with regions with wings that connect regions and the world," and Trustbank, which works on regional revitalization projects under the vision of "Creating self-reliant and sustainable regions," to "connect regions and people through hometown tax and pass on their charm to the next generation."

By combining ANA Akindo's customer base and communication power with Trustbank's cultivated network and foundation with municipalities nationwide, we will create an environment where more people can support regions across the country through hometown tax.

Going forward, ANA Akindo will continue to promote initiatives to support regions by leveraging the ANA Group's network and customer base, and Trustbank will further strengthen its collaboration with companies that think together about regional sustainability.
