In its debut 2020 season, which broke records, it updated 11 all-time lap records, including Moto2TM becoming the first to exceed 300 km/h, and produced 7 winners in 15 races. Based on this tremendous success, feedback and partnerships from riders and teams, and the wonderful response from Triumph fans worldwide, Triumph and Dorna decided to extend their partnership in 2021, signing a further three-year racing contract from 2022 to 2024.
From 2022-2024, Triumph's 765cc three-cylinder engine has achieved a total of 73 race records and lap records, with 21 riders winning Moto2TM races. The first-ever top speed of 300 km/h was also recorded, and in the qualifying for the 2023 Italian GP, Celestino Vietti and Darryn Binder recorded the highest top speed in Moto2TM history at 301.6 km/h. Triumph's 765cc three-cylinder engine has raced over 1 million kilometers, proving its exceptional performance and reliability.
•Triumph's racing activities were further strengthened in 2022 with the return to the World Superbike paddock by the factory-supported race team Dynavolt Triumph competing in the World Supersport Championship.
•In 2021, Triumph announced its entry into the world of motocross and enduro, and will compete in top-level championship races in both motocross and enduro series.
•In 2022, Triumph announced a partnership with one of the most experienced and successful team owners, Thierry Chizat-Suzzoni. Chizat-Suzzoni will field two new Triumph 250cc 4-stroke MX bikes in the MX2 class in 2024, with an addition to the 450cc MXGP class in 2025.
Additionally, with team principal Bobby Hewitt and team manager Stephen 'Scuba' Westfall, new Triumph 250cc 4-stroke MX bikes will be entered in the 2024 SuperMotocross World Championship. •In 2023, Triumph officially achieved the Guinness World RecordTM for "Furthest distance ridden by motorcycle in 24 hours (individual)". Ivan Cervantes, a five-time Enduro World Champion and Triumph Global Ambassador, rode a standard factory-shipped Tiger 1200 GT Explorer on the high-speed ring at the Nardò Technical Center in Italy, covering 4012km in 24 hours, exceeding the previous record of 3406km by over 600km.
