Trim Inc. (Naka-ku, Yokohama; Yusuke Hasegawa, President and CEO) has newly installed its fully-enclosed baby care room, "mamaro™," at the "Tokyo Hachijo Prefectural Office Exhibition Hall" starting from "Friday, March 27, 2026."
"mamaro" is a fully private baby care room that can be used for nursing, diaper changing, dressing, and other baby care needs. Installations are rapidly expanding in commercial facilities, train stations, public facilities, and parks across Japan. As of March 2025, the number of installed units reached 800, with a cumulative total of 1.3 million uses (as of April 2025).
Trim will continue to pursue its mission of "providing a better childcare environment" by promoting the development and installation of its products.

■ Background of the Installation
The Hachijo Prefectural Office Exhibition Hall displays projects undertaken by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and special products from Hachijo and Aogashima islands. To accommodate a wide range of visitors, a nursing room, kids' space, and a rest area surrounded by ornamental plants and Tokyo-grown wood were newly established in fiscal year 2025.
In particular, the decision to introduce the nursing room and kids' space was made with the thought that they would provide a comfortable environment not only for tourists but also for island residents.

■ Comment from the Facility Manager
The Hachijo Prefectural Office Exhibition Hall was renovated in fiscal year 2025 and developed as a space where people of all generations can relax comfortably. It features a free space where tourists and others can stop by to rest and interact, as well as an exhibition of ornamental plants that also serves to introduce the island's floriculture.
Furthermore, we have newly established a nursing room and a kids' space, aiming to create a comfortable environment for the child-rearing generation. The interior features many fixtures made from Tama-produced timber, creating a relaxing facility where the scent of wood gently drifts as you enter. We invite you to visit.

This is a movable, fully private baby care room that can be installed in a space about the size of one tatami mat. In addition to being available for a wide range of baby care needs, it is equipped with software that links to a smartphone app, allowing real-time checking of usage status and acquisition of user data.
As a lockable private room, it offers many options for installation locations and can be used regardless of gender. Consequently, there is an increasing number of cases where it is installed as part of D&I and SDGs initiatives.
