Trial Accelerates EC Business Collaboration with Seiyu, Establishes New Company "TRYU" and Fully Launches Net Supermarket in Sapporo

TRIAL HOLDINGS, LTD. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; Representative Director: Hiroyuki Nagata; hereinafter referred to as "Trial") announced today the establishment of a new company, "TRYU Co., Ltd." (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Shohei Fujimura; hereinafter referred to as "TRYU"), to integrate and strengthen the EC business of the entire group. TRYU will be responsible for the planning and operation of the Trial Group's EC business. As part of these efforts, it will fully launch "TRIAL Net Supermarket" in Sapporo, Hokkaido.

Leveraging the business integration initiated with Seiyu, which joined the group in 2025, the Trial Group is advancing business collaborations that capitalize on the strengths of both companies. In the EC domain, by combining Seiyu's over 25 years of accumulated know-how in net supermarket operations and monetization with Trial's store network and product appeal, the group will comprehensively plan and operate its EC businesses, including "TRIAL Net Supermarket" and "Seiyu Net Supermarket." The launch of "TRIAL Net Supermarket" in Sapporo is the result of these business collaborations, enabling the fastest possible service deployment.

Following a smooth start with services sequentially launched at TRIAL smart Kotoni Store, Super Center Trial Teine Store, and Mega Center Trial Fushiko Store in Sapporo City since the end of February 2026, "TRIAL Net Supermarket" will begin accepting orders from Super Center Trial Atsubetsu Store (Sapporo City) starting Friday, April 3, 2026 (*). This expansion will further extend the delivery area within Sapporo City, aiming to enhance convenience for local customers.

The service will offer Trial's lineup of over 13,000 items, as well as Seiyu's private brand (PB) "Minna no O Tsukiami," with 24-hour order reception and six delivery slots per day, providing a highly convenient service tailored to customers' lifestyles.

Going forward, TRYU plans to gradually expand the net supermarket delivery area within Sapporo City, renew the net supermarket websites currently operating at Mega Center Trial Fukuoka Airport Store and TRIAL smart Imajuku Store in Fukuoka City, and further expand services to the Kyushu, Kansai, and Kanto regions. Additionally, the Trial Group aims to maximize value and convenience for customers across the group, working not only to strengthen its net supermarket business but also to explore new possibilities in the EC domain, such as enhancing quick commerce and gift mail-order businesses.
