Rakuten STAY Opens 'Rakuten STAY Sapporo Nakajima Park,' Its First Property in the Hokkaido Region

Rakuten STAY Co., Ltd. (hereinafter "Rakuten STAY"), the operator of Rakuten Group, Inc.'s (hereinafter "Rakuten") accommodation brand "Rakuten STAY," today announced the grand opening of "Rakuten STAY Sapporo Nakajima Park" (hereinafter "the property"), its first location in the Hokkaido region. Reservations are now open via the official Rakuten STAY website and app, Rakuten's travel booking service "Rakuten Travel," and partner accommodation booking sites.

The property is a 9-story accommodation facility with 46 guest rooms, located approximately 5 minutes on foot from Nakajima Koen Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Nanboku Line. Conveniently situated for easy access to central Sapporo, it offers a comfortable stay in a quiet neighborhood ideal for both sightseeing and business. All rooms feature a space that can be used as a living or dining area, creating a private environment perfect for relaxation and family time. Additionally, every room is equipped with a projector, a fully outfitted kitchen with comprehensive appliances and cooking utensils, a washer-dryer, and a bathtub, ensuring comfort even during extended stays.

The property offers four distinct room types. The A type room provides a spacious area of approximately 98 square meters, accommodating up to 8 guests, with a living and dining area plus two bedrooms, making it ideal for two families or large group trips. The B type and C type rooms offer generous spaces of approximately 49 square meters and 46 square meters respectively, each accommodating up to 6 guests, perfect for family or group travel. The B type room features a living and dining area along with bunk beds in the sleeping area, while the C type room includes a raised space that can be used as both a dining and sleeping area. The D type room offers a table area usable as a dining space within a 36-square-meter room accommodating up to 4 guests, ideal for couples or small groups of friends.

All rooms are furnished with popular items from Rakuten Market, Rakuten's online shopping mall, including the "Hitsuji no Iranai Makura® —Shigoku—" (Note), foot massagers, and humidifiers to support restful sleep and help travelers recover from fatigue. Check-in and check-out can be completed easily via tablet terminals located in the lobby, and room doors are equipped with smart locks, enabling a completely contactless and seamless arrival and departure experience.

Additionally, the property features three dog-friendly rooms, accommodating pets from small to large breeds, with up to two dogs allowed per room. Each room is equipped with leash hooks, pet cages, pet beds, food bowls, pet sheets, dustbins, and etiquette bags, providing a comfortable and secure environment for guests traveling with pets.
