Rakuten Clutch Donation Starts Accepting Donations for "2026 Venezuela Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund"

We express our deepest condolences to those who lost their lives in the earthquake that occurred in northwestern Venezuela on June 25 (Thu) (Japan time), and we sincerely sympathize with all those affected and their families. We pray for the swift recovery and reconstruction.

Rakuten Group, Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Rakuten") has begun accepting donations for the "2026 Venezuela Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund" through its online donation service, "Rakuten Clutch Donation."

Donors can choose their preferred payment method from "Rakuten Points," "Rakuten Card," various credit cards with VISA and Mastercard brands, or cash transfer to a designated account at "Rakuten Bank" (Note 1) to make their donation.

All donations received will be fully contributed to support the victims of this disaster. The recipient organization will be announced on the special website once it is decided. The donation period is scheduled to be from July 2, 2026 (Thu) to August 28, 2026 (Fri) (Note 2).

Rakuten will continue to engage in various support activities, including fundraising.

(Note 1) Cash transfers to designated accounts at "Rakuten Bank" are scheduled to begin accepting donations soon.

(Note 2) The acceptance period may be extended depending on future circumstances.

Donations are accepted at a rate of 1 Rakuten Point per 1 yen, and can be made starting from 1 point.

2. Donations with Credit Cards

Donations are accepted starting from 100 yen using "Rakuten Card" and various credit cards with VISA and Mastercard brands.

3. Donations via Cash Transfer to a Designated Account at "Rakuten Bank"

Donations can be made 24 hours a day using a "Rakuten Bank" account. Customers who do not have a "Rakuten Bank" account can also directly transfer donations to the designated account. Donations are accepted starting from 1 yen.

*Receipts will not be issued for Clutch Donations. Donations are not eligible for tax deductions.

"Rakuten Clutch Donation" was launched in 2011 in response to numerous requests for online donations, as the circle of support expanded both domestically and internationally following the Great East Japan Earthquake.
