Rakuten GORA, a golf course booking site operated by Rakuten Group, Inc., is holding the "Rakuten Golf Score Management App 5th Anniversary & 4 Million DL Commemorative! Present Campaign" starting today. This campaign celebrates the 5th anniversary of the "Rakuten Golf Score Management App," a smartphone application that comprehensively supports rounds and skill improvement, and its cumulative downloads surpassing 4 million.

This campaign offers prizes such as assorted golf goods featuring Rakuten's official character "Okaimono Panda" to users who enter through the special page between May 1, 2026 (Friday) and June 30, 2026 (Tuesday). Additionally, participants can receive a 5,000 yen coupon usable for golf course bookings on Rakuten GORA, a 4,000 yen coupon usable at "Rakuten GORA Store Supported by GOLF5" on the internet shopping mall "Rakuten Ichiba," and 400 Rakuten Points.

The "Rakuten Golf Score Management App" offers convenient features for course strategy, such as score input/management during rounds and course confirmation using GPS course maps. It also includes a leaderboard for live score checking and a chat function for communication among round participants. Since its launch in May 2021, the app has continuously expanded its features. In November 2023, it gained compatibility with smartwatches like Apple Watch, and in November 2024, a beta version of an AI-powered swing analysis feature was added, which diagnoses golf swing movements. Users can simply record and upload a swing video with their smartphone to check a comprehensive score out of 100, swing trajectory diagnosis, and a balance evaluation of each movement using a radar chart, helping them with training to achieve ideal shots.

On the special 5th-anniversary page, in addition to a "Round Type Diagnosis" that allows users to diagnose their golf round tendencies by entering items such as average score and average putts, the average score distribution by user attributes (age, gender, golf experience) and survey results on app usage are also published for "Rakuten Golf Score Management App" users.
