Rakuten Announces Rakuten Monkeys' Official Cheerleaders 'Rakuten Girls' to Participate in 'Rakuten Super Nighter'

Rakuten Group, Inc. (hereinafter "Rakuten") announced that "Rakuten Girls," the official cheerleaders of the Taiwanese professional baseball team "Rakuten Monkeys," will participate in the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles' top-team official game "Rakuten Eagles vs. Saitama Seibu" (at Tokyo Dome) on Monday, June 22, 2026, which Rakuten will sponsor as the "Rakuten Super Nighter."

To commemorate the holding of the "Rakuten Super Nighter," the "Rakuten Super Nighter Special Project" campaign will be implemented starting Friday, April 24. Participants can enter simply by registering on the campaign page, and luxurious prizes such as tickets to the "Rakuten Super Nighter" will be awarded by lottery.

"Rakuten Girls" are the official cheerleaders of "Rakuten Monkeys," currently consisting of 27 members. They are gaining attention in various fields, including dance performances that liven up games, CD releases, and appearances in commercials and TV programs. They are scheduled to liven up the "Rakuten Super Nighter" through various initiatives, and 10 members of "Rakuten Girls" will appear in the gravure section of "Weekly Young Magazine," a manga magazine published by Kodansha Ltd. The "Yanmaga Cup," which will select members based on voting results, will start on Monday, April 27, and the selected members are scheduled to be announced at the "Rakuten Super Nighter."

Rakuten will continue to undertake various initiatives to empower people through sports.
