Smith & Wollensky, the historic steakhouse from New York with nearly 50 years of tradition, is officially opening general reservations today, Friday, March 27, ahead of its grand opening on Friday, May 1, 2026. In conjunction with this, we are unveiling details for two exclusive Ginza-only lunch plans that embody the dynamism of New York.
The supreme experience, hailed by The New York Times as "The Steakhouse to End All Arguments"*1, is finally coming to Japan. Served in a grand, three-story space, these lunches are more than just meals; they represent the culture of New York Manhattan as an "intellectual social hub" where creators and executives intersect.
The Ginza-exclusive "The Runway Lunch" and "Fortune Power Lunch" are special plans designed to recreate the daily life of Manhattan right here in Ginza. From the ultimate power lunch that fuels professionals moving the world by the minute, to a substantial experience celebrating a major milestone, these plans color every scene dramatically.
Enjoy a luxurious lunch time that will be etched in your memory, featuring the noble aroma of meat enhanced by precise grilling in a dedicated broiler and our signature beef tallow. Pair your meal with a selection proposed by our sommelier from a cellar housing over 2,000 bottles, all within a high-quality space bathed in the sunlight of Ginza.
