transcosmos Awarded Contract for Tokyo SME Profitability Enhancement Support Project

transcosmos inc. has been awarded a contract for expert dispatch services for the SME Profitability Enhancement Support Project, hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center, a policy-linked organization of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. Due to the prolonged impact of rising prices, increased costs in business activities are seriously affecting the business continuity of SMEs, posing risks such as impacts on supply chains and a decline in industrial competitiveness. Therefore, to overcome the management challenge of prolonged business cost increases, we will support the improvement and strengthening of corporate profitability and the reinforcement of business activity foundations. Amidst the deepening of raw material price hikes and the increasing complexity of the social and business environment, social issues are piling up. In parallel with the increase in social issues, the challenges faced by local governments are also increasing year by year. In this project, the Tokyo Metropolitan Small and Medium Enterprise Support Center will provide comprehensive support, including partial subsidies for expenses, by accompanying SMEs in Tokyo that are struggling to continue business due to rising prices, in formulating and executing plans to improve profitability. The secretariat for this operation will be provided by transcosmos, covering everything from application reception for expert dispatch to progress management and performance reporting. Leveraging our accumulated knowledge, we will centrally manage various information on our business operation management platform to realize optimal secretariat operations. transcosmos is working to become a social co-creation partner with the purpose of expanding its social impact as a company and maximizing the well-being of society as a whole by addressing such social issues.
