Ichibata-san Yakushiji Temple will begin distributing its July-limited "Gold Foil Goshuin" starting July 1, 2026. These goshuin are limited editions distributed monthly. The designs have been renewed from 2026, featuring a three-dimensional and gorgeous design with gold foil stamping in the center.

We will be distributing monthly goshuin featuring the "Great Festival Goshuin" inspired by the seasonal festivals held at Ichibata-san Yakushiji Temple, and the goshuin of the Twelve Heavenly Generals who protect those who worship Yakushi Nyorai.

Great Festival Goshuin "Jizo Bosatsu"

This goshuin is for the "Ancestor Bon Memorial Service" to honor ancestors and mizuko (unborn children). Jizo Bosatsu is enshrined at the mizuko memorial tower and as an external deity at the branch temple, offering benefits for fertility, safe childbirth, and mizuko memorial services. In commemoration of July, it features illustrations of Tanabata (Star Festival) and morning glories.

Twelve Heavenly Generals Goshuin "Antaira Taisho"

This goshuin is associated with Kannon Bosatsu as the honji butsu (original Buddha), offering benefits for the removal of suffering, marital harmony, and rebirth in paradise. He is depicted holding a treasure halberd at his waist, looking ahead to drive away evil. The monkey, the zodiac animal of Antaira Taisho who protects July, is depicted.

Distribution Locations

In addition to the Okazaki Main Hall and Nagoya Branch Temple, starting in 2026, limited goshuin will also be available at the Net Branch Temple, making them accessible to those with mobility issues or who live far away.
