Five Types of Summer Limited Goshuin
Kirie Goshuin [Chirino-wa]
Kirie Goshuin [Chirino-wa]
This goshuin is designed to coincide with the traditional purification ritual, the "Natsu Kosai no Gi" (held on July 15th at our shrine), which purifies the sins and impurities of the mind and body accumulated over the past six months as we approach the height of summer. It is crafted as a kirie (paper-cut) motif of the "Chirino-wa" (a ring made of lush green kaya grass) set up on the shrine grounds. We pray that all who receive this goshuin will have a healthy summer, pure in mind and body. Approximately A5 size (210mm x 148mm).
Distribution Period: July 1, Reiwa 8 - July 31, Reiwa 8 *May become unavailable depending on the situation.
Offering Price: 1,000 yen https://ikutajinja.official.ec/items/147554105
Kirie Goshuin [Wishing Upon a Star]
This goshuin is inspired by the story of "Orihime and Hikoboshi," who reunite once a year against the backdrop of a giant star floating in the Milky Way, and the "Kasasagi" (magpie) that serves as their bridge. It is crafted as a kirie (paper-cut). We pray that your heartfelt wishes reach the stars, and that you find good relationships with your loved ones and that your daily life is filled with happiness.
*Bronze magpies are placed on the roof of our attached building, which is considered a shrine for matchmaking, to welcome you. *Instead of standard laser cutting for part of the design, we have used a technique (half-cut) where the laser output is adjusted to shave the paper, creating a unique expression. Approximately A5 size (210mm x 148mm).
Distribution Period: July 1, Reiwa 8 - July 31, Reiwa 8 *May become unavailable depending on the situation.

2. About Ikuta Shrine
Exterior of Ikuta Shrine
Ikuta Shrine, affectionately known as "Ikuta-san" by the locals of Kobe. In the first year of Empress Jingū's regency (201 AD), on her return voyage from the three Korean kingdoms, her ship became stuck offshore from present-day Kobe Port. She performed a divination, and Wakahirume no Mikoto appeared, saying, "I wish to reside in Ikuta Nagatsukuni." Thus, she was enshrined by Umi-no-isao-sachi. The shrine is revered as the guardian deity of Kobe, offering benefits for matchmaking, long life, business prosperity, family safety, as well as success in love and safe childbirth.
