Joined "RE100," an International Initiative Aiming for 100% Renewable Energy Use

Toyota Tsusho Corporation announced its membership in the international climate initiative "RE100," committing to source 100% of the electricity used in its business operations from renewable energy by 2040. The company had previously declared its goal to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 50% by 2030. To meet the RE100 target, Toyota Tsusho will install solar panels, utilize energy management systems, and procure renewable energy certificates.
