Kunitomi Town, Miyazaki Prefecture, has installed a new commemorative stamp at its main town hall lobby, featuring local attractions and a hidden signature of enka singer Futaumi Soichi, aiming to boost tourism and fan engagement.

Kunitomi Town, Miyazaki Prefecture (Mayor: Hidaka Toshio) has newly installed a 'commemorative visitor stamp' on the first-floor lobby of its main town hall building, available for anyone to use free of charge.

This stamp responds to enthusiastic requests from tourists visiting from outside the town and fans coming to see the exhibition booth of enka singer Soichi Futaumi, a native of Kunitomi, who expressed a desire for a memorable keepsake from their visit.

The stamp design incorporates symbols and specialties the town takes pride in. It features the traditional local toy 'uzura kuruma' (quail cart), 'Miyazaki beef' and 'bell peppers' grown in the region's rich natural environment, the 'glass skiing' and 'town flower cosmos' of Hokei-dake Park, and even the popular local sweet 'Kunitomi Roll'—making it a treasure chest of Kunitomi's attractions.
