Babel Tower Inc. officially released its new language learning feature for the AI translation app "TransGull" on March 27, 2026. In addition to its existing multilingual translation capabilities, this update further enhances the learning experience, allowing users to seamlessly transition from understanding to mastery by moving directly into learning after translation. This learning feature supports 32 languages and is currently available on the iOS version. The Android version is scheduled for release in April 2026.
Directly to Learning After Translation A key feature of this update is the seamless integration of "translation" and "learning." After using video or voice translation, users can enter learning mode by simply long-pressing the subtitles. For conversational translation, long-pressing a translated bubble instantly transitions the user to the learning screen for that specific sentence. This eliminates the need to switch apps or re-enter text, ensuring a smooth transition from translation to learning. This feature supports 32 languages, including English, French, Korean, Spanish, Chinese, German, Portuguese, Italian, Indonesian, and Vietnamese, enabling multilingual learning.
Supports Repeat Playback and Shadowing In learning mode, users can repeatedly play the standard pronunciation of target sentences, aiding in listening comprehension improvement. Furthermore, the app supports shadowing practice, where AI evaluates the user's pronunciation and helps them understand its accuracy.
